Accessibility Statement

We’re committed to making HelloTools usable by everyone. This page explains our approach, the standards we strive to meet, and how to contact us with feedback or requests.

Inclusive by design

Built for broad access

Our Commitment

HelloTools is designed to be fast, private, and accessible. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines for key user flows, and we continually iterate as we ship new features and tools.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML for structure and meaning.
  • Keyboard navigation with clear, visible focus states.
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA where practical.
  • Form labels, instructions, and helpful error messaging.
  • ARIA attributes used thoughtfully where semantics alone aren’t sufficient.
  • Responsive layouts and zoom support without loss of functionality.
  • Non-flashing UI and reduced motion respect where supported.

Compatibility

We test modern browsers on desktop and mobile. Some tools rely on browser APIs (e.g., Canvas/WebAssembly) that may not exist in older browsers. When a feature isn’t supported, we try to provide fallbacks or a clear notice.

Keyboard Navigation

  • Tab / Shift+Tab: Move between interactive elements in a logical order.
  • Enter / Space: Activate buttons and toggles.
  • Esc: Close dialogs or overlays when present.

Color & Contrast

We monitor contrast ratios and aim for AA-level contrast. If you encounter a component that’s hard to read, please let us know which page and element so we can address it.

Images, Icons & Non-Text Content

Decorative images are marked appropriately. Informative graphics include text alternatives or labels where needed. Tool icons include accessible text where they convey meaning.

Known Limitations

  • Some third-party embeds or assets may not fully meet WCAG criteria. We choose vendors carefully and raise issues when we find them.
  • Experimental tools may ship with incremental accessibility improvements; we track and fix issues quickly.

Third-Party Content

Certain features may rely on third-party scripts or CDNs. While we don’t control their code, we endeavor to select providers with good accessibility practices.

Feedback & Requests

Your feedback helps us improve. If you experience a barrier, need an alternative format, or want to request a reasonable accommodation, email us at adil.irfan33@gmail.com. Please include the page URL, a brief description of the issue, and the assistive technology or browser you’re using (if applicable).

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We periodically review new features, fix regressions, and refine our design system to keep accessibility front and center.
